Activision has addressed a major issue in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 by restoring account progress and saves, specifically for Zombies and Multiplayer modes. Following the first major update for the game, several Zombies players reported resets in their progression, but this problem has now been resolved.
As with previous Call of Duty titles, Black Ops 6 features three primary gameplay modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. While Zombies typically stands apart, Black Ops 6 integrates elements of the mode within its Campaign, encouraging players to explore it. Since launch, many Zombies fans have been completing Easter eggs and progressing through Camo challenges. However, some players faced resets in their Multiplayer and Zombies progress after the first update. Call of Duty has confirmed that these issues should now be fixed.

A recent tweet from the official Call of Duty Twitter account updated the community on the status of these problems, stating that Multiplayer and Zombies data, including Medals and Intel, should now be restored. The fix has been applied using data backups, and players should see the missing progress upon logging in. If issues persist, Activision has instructed players to contact support for further assistance.
The update notes revealed that some players were affected by updates 1 and 2, which may have introduced issues with Medal and progress tracking. Fortunately, the restored data ensures that Weapon Camo, Emblem, and Calling Card progress were not impacted by the data loss. However, character customization and loadouts made during this time were not restored, and affected players will need to recreate these changes manually.
Activision acknowledged that code introduced in the updates may have interfered with some challenges and Medals. Treyarch is continuing to update Black Ops 6, and any remaining issues will likely be addressed in future patches.
