Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered has just received a fresh update for November 2024, addressing a variety of bug fixes and technical enhancements. The latest patch, 1.2, introduces a series of visual, audio, and controller-related improvements. Notable changes include adjustments to the audio volume in pre-rendered cutscenes for multi-output devices, improved visuals in settlements when viewed from a distance, and the removal of visible neck seams on certain characters. Additionally, the patch fixes bugs like floating grapple points in Devil's Thirst and the mouse camera interruption in Photo Mode for multi-monitor setups.
Nixxes Software also expressed gratitude for the player feedback and assured that they would continue to monitor reports for any further issues to address in future updates. The patch focuses mainly on the PC version of the game, which has faced more technical challenges compared to the PS5 release. Issues like the PSN requirement and technical problems on Steam have been widely reported by players.
